They first met through a common friend during college in 2013. Back then, neither of them believed that ten years later they would be exchanging vows of eternal love. And yet, that very encounter was the beginning of what turned out to be Tye and Santiago’s love story.
Although they were apart for four years, the couple began to date in 2017. Eventually, it made their relationship official when Santiago with a glass of champagne in hand, proposed to Tye in the small, picturesque town of Middleburg in Virginia, US. Last fall, they got married at one of their favourite destinations: San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.
The wedding celebrations started with a welcoming party at Parque Juarez, with a traditional welcome dinner at an evergreen scenery dominated by Marigold flowers and beautifully laid out buffets of authentic Mexican food (including tacos, guacamole, churros and beer), all accompanied by the colourful sounds of a Mariachi band. It was a jubilant and colourful party to be remembered, as Tye and Santiago celebrated with their families and guests savouring the flavours, colours and sounds of Mexico.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held the following day at the stunning Rancho Las Sabinas with its manicured lawns and tall cypress trees. The ceremony was serene and elegant with the couple beaming with happiness! A row of romantic and elegant consecutive floral arches led to the entrance of the venue to a lavish reception that was absolutely stunning! The ceiling full of gorgeous cascading flowers, and the huge floral centrepieces towering over modern chic-styled tables with Tiffany chairs, were just a few of the highlights of this spectacular scene.
Tye and Santriago’s special day bore the signature and expertise of the renowned Penzi Weddings, well-known designers for their beautiful and stylish events. As Tye tells us, the talented team of Guadalupe Alvarez “brought our dream wedding to life,” taking care of everything to the slightest detail. “The result was breathtaking and truly mesmerising “ another specular wedding event designed and produced by Penzi Weddings.
Tye & Santiago: Φθινοπωρινός γάμος-υπερπαραγωγή στο Σαν Μιγκέλ ντε Αγιέντε στο Μεξικό
Γνωρίστηκαν μέσω ενός κοινού φίλου στα φοιτητικά τους χρόνια το 2013. Τότε, κανείς από τους δύο δεν πίστευε ότι δέκα χρόνια μετά, θα αντάλλαζαν όρκους αιώνιας αγάπης. Κι όμως, εκείνη η γνωριμία ήταν για την Tye και τον Santiago η αρχή του love story τους.
Αν και χάθηκαν για τέσσερα χρόνια, ξεκίνησαν να βγαίνουν το 2017 και το 2021 ήρθε η επισημοποίηση της σχέσης τους. Της έκανε πρόταση γάμου με ένα ποτήρι σαμπάνιας στο χέρι, στη μικρή γραφική πόλη του Μίντλμπεργκ στη Βιρτζίνια των ΗΠΑ. Δύο χρόνια αργότερα, το περσινό φθινόπωρο παντρεύτηκαν σε έναν αγαπημένο τους προορισμό: στο Σαν Μιγκέλ ντε Αγιέντε στο Μεξικό.
Ο γάμος τους πραγματοποιήθηκε σε δύο υπέροχα στάδια. Ξεκίνησε με ένα παραδοσιακό welcome dinner σε ένα καταπράσινο σκηνικό στο Parque Juarez, με μεξικάνικα εδέσματα, guacamole, churros και μπύρες, υπό τους ήχους των μουσικών μαριάτσι, που διασκέδασαν τόσο το ζευγάρι, όσο και τους αγαπημένους τους καλεσμένους. Η Τye και ο Santiago μαζί με τις οικογένειες και φίλους τους έγιναν ένα εύθυμο πλήθος που διασκέδαζε μέχρι πρωϊας με τα χρώματα, τις γεύσεις και τους ύχους του Μεξικό.
Την επόμενη μέρα πραγματοποιήθηκε ο γάμος με μία elegant τελετή και στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε μία υπερπολυτελής δεξίωση στο Rancho Las Sabinas με την εντυπωσιακή πισίνα, τον κατάφυτο υπαίθριο χώρο και τον ρομαντικό ανθοστολισμό στις αποχρώσεις του λευκού και του πράσινου. Μια σειρά από υπέροχες φλοράλ αψίδες οδηγούσαν στην είσοδο του κλειστού χώρου με ένα σκηνικό πολυτέλειας να ξεδιπλώνεται με το εντυπωσιακό ταβάνι από κρεμαστά λουλούδια, υπέροχες ψηλές ανθοσυνθέσεις που δέσποζαν πάνω στα υπέρκομψα τραπέζια με τις καρέκλες Τιffany.
Η πιο σημαντική στιγμή της ζωής τους είχε την υπογραφή της διάσημης εταιρείας Penzi Weddings, που φημίζεται για τον σχεδιασμό μοναδικών και υπερπολυτελών γάμων. Όπως χαρακτηριστικά ανέφερε η Tye, «η έμπειρη ομάδα της Guadalupe Alvarez έκανε πράξη τον γάμο των ονείρων μας», φροντίζοντας την κάθε λεπτομέρεια. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν απλά χάρμα οφθαλμών, ένας ακόμα γάμος-υπερπαραγωγή από την Penzi Weddings.
